July 3, 06: My story, The Gift, has been accepted for the upcoming Revenant 2 anthology by CARNIFAX Press. I'll post more details when I get them.

I'm very excited to announce that my novella, The Problem With Mickey, has been picked up by INSIDIOUS Publications. I've had the opportunity to see some of their work, and Iet me tell you--they are HOT. These are beautifully assembled, full color, high quality volumes. I will be illustrating this one as well, which is extra cool. More information coming VERY soon....

May 2, 06: My short story, Resting Place, has been accepted by GRAFIKA magazine. I'm not sure as to if it will appear in issue 1 or 2 yet, so I'll post more info as I get it. Several CWW members will also appear in that issue, so it should be incredible.

Just got word that my story, A Boy and His Finger, has been accepted by the UK publication FORGOTTEN WORLDS. This is my first oversees acceptance.

April 24, 06: My short story, Beelzebob, will be published in issue #3 of MEAT GRINDER PRESS. I will also be illustrating the story.

April 17, 06: My story, The Plague, was accepted as the third story in a four story comic to be published by Grafika Press, along with a tale by Dan Waters, and one by Gord Rollo. More information as I get it.

April 3, 06: I'll be illustrating a mini-comic for the June issue of MEAT GRINDER PRESS, as I had originally wanted to be a comic book artist. The story is called Special Delivery, and it is by Dave Greske. I've illustrated Dave a couple times now, and have a great respect for both he and his work. More information as I get it.

March 15, 06: I've learned that I will be doing artwork for issue two of MEAT GRINDER PRESS. This new horror magazine is shaping up to be impressive, and I'm excited to be a part of it. I'll post the link to their site soon...

March 13, 06: Writer Fran Friel has written a wonderful essay about horror illustrators in her current blog. Being a fan of Ms. Freil as both a writer and a person, I was ecstatic to learn that I was actually mentioned in it. VERY cool. Check it out HERE.

March 13, 06: Im finishing up the final illustrations for CHAINSAW magazine. Let me tell you, this issue is sure to be a winner. The fiction is top-notch, but not for the squeamish. So far, the art I completed for it is, in my opinion, some of my best. This issue will feature EIGHT of my illustrations. Ill be plugging the shit out of the mag upon its release, so stay tuned!

March 10, 06: APEX has posted an interview with me on their site. Mari Adkins asked some great questions, and those interested in my work will certainly find it entertaining (at least I hope they will. Even if you find it boring as hell, do me a favor please? March 1, 06: INSIDIOUS REFLECTIONS has released a collectible mug featuring original artwork by me. February 15, 06: Just got word that my short story Bottom of the Sixth will appear in DARK JESTERS. Edited by Nick Cato, this magazine of comical horror tales is sure to be a blast.

January 15, 06: I've had a story accepted for the 2006 issue of CHAMPAGNE SHIVERS! One of my illustrations will also appear in that issue. More news as I get it.

December 31, 05: My story, Pit Stop, has been accepted for publication in the first issue of CHAINSAW magazine. I'll also be illustrating the cover of this mag. With fiction from fellow CWW members Andersen Prunty and Louise Bohmer, this proves to be a great debut. I'll post more news as I get it.

December 28, 05: CHAMPAGNE SHIVERS '05 is now available, and it was well worth the wait. My contributions aside, this classy issue features fiction and poetry by Jack Kincaid, John Weagly, Rob McClure Smith, Lee Clark Zumpe, Eric Marin, and John M. Floyd, G.O. October 27, 05: I'm excited to announce that I won the CHAMPAGNE SHIVERS contest for best contribution to the new issue. My illustration, Road Kill, won the Editor's First Choice Award. I'm honored by this accolade as CS is a quality publication. Seriously, folks--the January '06 issue of CHAMPAGNE SHIVERS is going to be incredible!

October 27, 05: Just received my copy of DEVIL'S PLAYGROUND, a Halloween chapbook by A.P. Fuchs and Keith Gouveia. I can't wait to read this one! This adorable little soft-cover, perfect bound volume features two interconnected stories by the authors. I was honored to be asked to draw the cover for this publication. October 23, 05: WICKED KARNIVAL HALLOWEEN HORROR is here! That's right, the wait is over. This fully-illustrated special edition is packed with Halloween fiction and spooky artwork. Featuring a forward by Rick Hautala, an essay by James Newman, and new fiction by Rick Hautala, Graham Masterton, James A. Moore, and William Gagliani, this book is sure to be a holiday classic. Several members of CWW also have stories inside. Not only did I assemble and edit this mag with my wife Billie, I also have over 20 pieces of art in it. October 5, 05: I've read the new issue of KOPFHALTER! cover to cover and I'm happy to report that it's another winner. August 25, 05: The first print issue of INSIDIOUS REFLECTIONS will feature three of my illustrations. Two of them are for Joe R. Lansdale stories. For those of you not familiar with his acclaimed work, Mr. Lansdale is the author of the short story that inspired the film Bubba Ho Tep. Can't wait to hold this one in my sweaty little hands.

August 22, 05: I just received word that my short story, Night School, will appear in KOPFHALTER! magazine. I'm also illustrating a story by fellow CWW member (and friend) Liam Davies. Stay tuned for more info.

August 21, 05: I WILL BE ILLUSTRATING FOR CEMETERY DANCE! I am elated to announce that I've been contacted by CD and asked to draw two illustrations for the next issue. More news as I get it.

August 20, 05: My story, Sexy-Dead, will appear in the December issue of VAMPIRES 2. It's available now for viewing HERE.

July 1st 05: Issue #3 of INSIDIOUS REFLECTIONS is now out and it looks like another winner. This issue sports a full-color cover illustration by yours truly as well as two interior black and whites. My article, So, You Want To Import DVDs, is also inside. For those of you who don't know, this will be the last pdf issue of this great mag. Buy your copy here. June 28th 05: I just completed an illustration for RED SCREAM magazine. They will also be using my illustration, Veal, as well. These pen and inks represent some of my nastiest works yet. Fans of sex and gore will not be disappointed.

June 18th 05: I just received my contributor's copy of the POTTER'S FIELD anthology and I am ecstatic with it. This slim, extremely attractive trade paperback is full of great horror fiction and lovely black and white illustrations. Honestly, I can't put this book down. June 16th 05: My story, Road kill, has been accepted for publication in the next issue of CHAMPAGNE SHIVERS. Even more exciting, I will be illustrating the story myself (a first for me). I'll also have one other illustration in the magazine. I'm particularly psyched about this news as I LOVED the last print issue of CHAMPAGNE SHIVERS and was hoping that I could be a part of the latest issue. The magazine is edited by Cathy Buburuz, a true professional and a credit to the field. I'll post more info as I get it. In the meantime, pick up a copy of the 2005 edition HERE. June 10th 05: WICKED KARNIVAL #4 is here, and it's in print! That's right, we're releasing the MONSTER MAYHEM issue through Lulu publishing. This issue is simply stunning. With articles by Staci-Layne Wilson, Simon Clark, Deb LeBlanc, and fiction by Darren Franz, Amy Grech, and contest winner, Stephen M.Wilson, this issue is sure to be a collector's item. I'm very proud of this mag as I designed the layout and supplied much of the carnival art. I also have four full-page illustrations and several reviews in it. FEB. 9th 05: I'm ecstatic to announce the birth of my first daughter, Sidney Leigh Moran. Both mom and baby are home and doing well.
